My name is Eric.  I am 23 years old and I'm officially in Southern California.  I am part of MENSA (google it if you don't know what it means), and currently employed as a software developer (my dream job).  I do not do photography as a full time job anymore I have the means to make a GREAT living off of it but It is a passion for me, and shooting all day will burn that flame out and I don't want to lose that spark again, after saying that I am a professional, I have studied the arts, I refuse to lose my passion so people will think i'm cooler than I actually am.  I have been using a Nikon SLR camera since 1997.  I got my first paying gig in 2001.  I am not stuck up or conceded about where i've been and who I have worked for.  I do what I do because I love making art, and making photos.  I am polite, prompt, easy to work with, and down to earth.  I have plenty of references and I am always available to shoot with anyone who has good ideas!

1. To collaborate with models, to get my projects done and to give some work to models who don't normally get a chance because they don't know how to.

2. Network with other people.  Make up artists, hair dressers, models, and of course meeting new people is always nice!

3. Creating art, and memories for years to come.  Wow... I'm a Hallmark Card.


What I'm not here for
1. To shoot pictures for your boyfriend for his birthday present.  Glamour shots in the mall does that and its a lot more affordable than me.

2. To start drama with Diva's who want to talk about how fat another girl is... Or boy...

3. To have my work judged by amateurs.  I've been published in more places than you read.  Back off.

4. To hear how much work you've done or how much your rate is... Read my profile first :-D

5. To look at over photoshopped crap.

Things that make me giggle on lt;/b>
(Side note: ALL of these quotes I have gotten on social sites)

1."I got accepted into Suicide Girls but I don't want to get naked" yeah everyone gets accepted sorry hunny you aren't special.  Not only that weren't you aware it was nude BEFORE you applied?"

2. Diva's with only cellphone pictures on there profiles.  "I'm professional but I can't use my pictures because there in esquire.." It's called a tear sheet.  Look it up...

3. Girls who think they are better than other girls because they have more "experience" yeah well you know I'd rather shoot a nice newbie than an experienced snob any day.

4. "I'll do implied if it is paid." Why if it's paid? are you giving us a show while you're at it?  If you are looking to make money being "Edgy" try go go dancing

5. 40+ year old GWC's calling themselves photographers who just shoot young girls naked as a "hobby".  Seriously... Go shoot a mountain scape and go to the strip club, save yourself from being called a pervert.  Chris Hansen called he wants you to take a seat on that stool over there.

6. putting the word, studio, production company, talent agency after your name.  If you don't have a studio.... Why?.

7. "My manager wants to talk to you first."  Sorry but your boyfriend does not qualify as your manager...

8. "Can I tape the shoot so I can sell the video to my fans later?" You have fans?

9. "I'm a professional model" oh yeah what's your day job?  "I work at The Gap" well then you aren't a professional are you.  Webster defines the word professional as participating for gain or livelihood in an activity or field of endeavor often engaged in by amateurs so that means if you don't make a living off of it.  You aren't a professional.  And usually when I think of "professional models" they USUALLY keep there clothes on

10. "I shoot with a Nikon D40."  Oh yeah how bout you upgrade to a Cyber-shot point and click more megapixels and easier to use

11. "can we shoot at the beach, with angel wings, near a train track, with a guy behind me looking angry, and a belt covering my chest?" No....

12.Not understanding What TFP or TFCD means and expecting to get paid for me to do there portfolio work... Yeah right...

13.model's that charge.  Okay you charge $100 an hour?  My rate is $725.00 an hour, so you owe me $625.00 at the end of that hour, if my math is right :-P oh by the way... I have a two hour minimum :-D.

14. "I charge 500.00 an hour.. You WILL use me for your project or you WILL be missing out!" Oh okay.. Last Time I checked I was the one with access to any modeling database in the United States.  Anyways, telling me I'm missing out?  Wow you must be an only child! (takes one to know one :-D)

15. "I'm a photographer but I only have half a brain" Oh yeah?  You mean you took a picture in black and white of a lawn chair and its shadow and developed it at Sav-On you must be SO brooding and deep.

16.  "I'm a (loosely termed) model, but i'm also a photographer" (lol)  Oh okay hunny.  So you have TWOaccounts?  That makes you a photographer automatically right?  Mmk.  Well you know what in the spirit of YOU.  I'm a model too :-D
if you want to work with me my rate is 200 an hour, and if you want me to do nude.  Get me half a subway sandwich.  Thanks

17. "I'm a model I don't need a brain" CRINGE!!!!!  That's all I'm...I'm done

18. Lying about your age.  If you look like you're 40 and you put down 30 make sure you have a good alibi because chances are you aren't fooling anyone.  people who lie about their age go to a special hell.  A hell reserved for people who cheat and talk in the movie theater

19. Male models...Okay, I really don't want to get into this.  But lets face it 95% of male models on this site are a complete joke.    Not to mention about 80% of PROFESSIONAL male models are a joke.  I'm sorry, but if you are trying to get laid, there are better sites for that.  IE: match.com, eharmony.com, chemistry.com.  If those don't work try craigslist.  You can even put that you're a "model" in the tag.  Sorry guys most (and i use that term loosely on this site) girls don't want what you're peddling.  Oh yeah, and kissing up on a girl during a photo shoot, grabbing their chest like its a life vest while having a pissed off look on your face isn't edgy or cool you look like an idiot...

20. "Every Girl has there price, no doesn't necessarily mean no" You have just made Eric's 'Pervert of the week' congrats.  That's the most disgusting and degrading thing I've ever read and or came across.  I'd rather be able to sleep at night thank you.

My take on Nudity
Female nudity: The female body is beautiful.  Saying that, I try to keep most of the nudity I do to a minimum.  leaving more to the imagination is always fun.  But in this day and age when nudity is the social norm it comes up.  Saying this, If we are doing a nude shoot I encourage an escort.

Male Nudity: Coming from my professional attitude, and the fact I am straight.  Male nudity is hard to be artistic, and therefore I do not do it.  The male body is pretty gross compared to the female body in my opinion.  I think most girls would agree as well.

THINGS I LOVE
passionate people, Who love what they are doing regardless of where it gets them.  Photographers who will shoot no matter what it is just to make that art.  I have SO much respect and admiration for those people.  Models who don't care if there on the front of a magazine or on an old Memorex disk stored in a shoe box, models that want to shoot regardless of what gigs they can get.  I love working with anyone with an idea.  all idea's are amazing, it just takes the right artist to put the "brush to the palette"

Canon Vs. Nikon
Nikon did it first, Canon just copied it.  I will always shoot Nikon for film.  Canon for video.  Maybe when I'm a sport's photographer I'll invest in a $499.99 plastic "Rebel"

my take on photoshop
Kay.  So, photoshop is a TOOL.  I use it when I need to fix what the make up artist and or model needs fixed.  If i wanted to blur out someone's face.  Or make it colorful or make the background look bright green I would have majored in animation.  I'm old fashioned MAYBE.  But I prefer having the girl in a picture as opposed to a photo shopped massacre.  So When edit.  I fix flaws in skin, not the entire face.  I resize and add my logo.  IF color or anything needs to be adjusted I didn't do a good job

I am currently seeking females 18-28 for my high exposure website www.thegamergirls.com it receives roughly 1 million hits a month and is a great experience builder.  It's one of the only sites I do TFCD for if interested let me know.  It's NON NUDE.  The shoots last about an hour.  I shoot daily for this if necessary.


Published pin-up book
