I'm Russia born semi-pro photographer. It doesn't mean that I'm half way betw GWC and pro. It means that I also have another job which pays most of my bills.
My friends gave me nick-name "Black Russian" for having mostly black friends and specializing on (as they saying) "shooting black people". LOL! Name for my studio came out before I decided to give it any name. I heard few times models was saying "I did those pix in Black Russian studio". So, Black Russian Studio it is!
My studio located in Brooklyn. I can do for you complete model starter kit, or add some good shots to your portfolio. Preffer to shoot in my studio, but can do location shots as well.
Currently I'm contributing photographer to Real Gainz Magazine. I determined to get into print advertising. Mostly interested in sport/fitness, beauty and product photography.
I'm interested to establish network with stylists and MUAs to do some TFP work together.
Very limited TFP with models. Only established models with good modeling skills should apply for TFP. I can do TFP/CD only if:
- it adds something realy good to my portfolio;
- you have for shot your own make up artist and stylist, or can do it yourself on professional level;
- you have clear concept for the shot, and this concept is interesting for me.
Models who has less than half pix in their port done by pro photographer are not experienced enough and not enough serious about their modeling career.
Will you consider seriously photographer who is not willing to invest any money in equipment and offer to shoot you with camera phone? Why you think photographers should seriously take your phone pix port?
Your Gucci shades or your Prada bag could buy you photoshoot with good pro photographer!
