About me

First I'd like to personally thank all of the talented and beautiful ladies that I've had the opportunity to photograph over the last couple of years.

2008 Rates
My glamour session is $150.00 and includes:
- Up to 3 looks
- Up to 2 hours of shooting
- online proofs of all images for selection
- 6 fully-retouched high-resolution digital files

TFP/TFCD/Testing Policy
If I offer or accept a test session with you, it's either because I think that you have a unique look that I don't have in my portfolio. Or I think that you have a commercially viable look, and I feel that I can find a buyer for the images.

--------------FAQ's-------------

What's your studio like?
I don't currently have enough business to lease a commercial studio, instead I use the garage at my house for sessions. It can be difficult to heat during the winter months, so that's one of the reasons I cut back on sessions from December to March. Almost all of the studio images you see in my gallery were taken there, so the quality that you've seen, is what you can expect in your images.

Do you allow the model to bring chaperone?
I do allow model that I'm working with the first time, to bring a female chaperone along. However I don't allow anyone else in the camera room during the actual shooting. I've found that additional people in the camera room can be a distraction and makes it hard for the model to concentrate.

Do you provide the wardrobe?
I usually rely on the models to bring along their own clothing. One of the things that I feel differentiates me from other photographers, is that I take an active interest in helping the model decide on outfits. The more than I can know about what a model is going to bring, the better that I can plan the session.

Do you provide a hair stylist and/or a makeup artist?
My normal pricing does not include either a hair stylist or makeup artist, but I can hire one if you desire those services for your session.

How do I get to see the images we shoot?
After the session, I scan through the images and delete all the lighting test shots, blinks and bad expressions. I create a photo gallery of the remaining images and upload it to a secure area of my website. I email the model a link to the gallery, usually within few days of the session

Do you give me, or send me a CD of all the images?
At no time will I ever send to anyone, the original high resolution, unedited files. I've had some bad experiences in the past, with unedited files being posted on various modeling websites. So to protect the integrity of my product, I've adopted the policy of not providing the original files. I will however on request, provide the model a disc containing the low resolution web gallery. It should be understood that this gallery is to be used for final selection of images, and the images are not to be posted to any websites or printed for portfolio use.

Do you give the model a final say in which images you use for your portfolio?
Everyone has different likes and dislikes in what they're looking for in an image. In most cases the models and I do agree on what the best images are. But there are cases where I might like an image for a particular reason, that the model may not like. And the same may be true of images she might like, that I may not. And while I will take a models opinion into consideration when I select images, I won't limit my choices to only those she feels are acceptable.

Can you shoot every day of the week?
I currently work full-time M-F, so I'm primarily available on weekends. I can shoot on weekday evenings after 5:30, with a little bit of notice. But again as the weather turns colder, it takes longer to warm the studio up, so weekday shoots start to become a problem.

Do you allow the models to retouch the images themselves?
I've spent a great deal of time and effort perfecting my digital workflow, to get my images to look the way that they do. I feel that I have a "style" that is unique to me, and the way that I shoot and edit. And if I allowed others to edit the images, than they'd lose that special something that only I can provide. So my "Testing" agreement clearly indicates that no one other than me may edit my work.
