Photography is a part time thing for me, as I have a thriving Consulting & Accounting business during the day. I've been doing photography for many years, and as shown by my profile, much of it has been costume type shoots. My ex-wife is a top anime costumer, winning multiple awards, and it was always a pleasure to shoot her and her friends/associates in a variety of locales. While I enjoy this work, I'm also looking to do more "mainstream" shooting, too.
I've reached the point in my progression where I am only going to do very limited TF* shoots. If I approach you about a shoot, I'm more willing to accept TF*, because I've seen something in your look I really want to capture. If you are approaching me, its much less likely to be TF*. However, I will judge this on a case by case basis. If you want to know my rates and whether I will do a TF* shoot with you, just drop me a message.
I am happy to do cosplay shoots, however with very rare exceptions, they will be paid shoots. Without patting myself on the back too much, I believe I'm one of the better cosplay photographers around. I just don't have the time or desire to travel to a lot of conventions just for photographs. That being said, if I do a cosplay shoot, I promise you images you will be proud to add to your portfolio.
I do not supply costumes for shoots. The ones I have in my portfolio were created by the models in the pictures, and are generally sized to those models. If you want a costume shoot, you will have to supply the costume yourself.
In my shoots, I can be very exacting, often asking for things as simple as changing the angle of your fingers or changing the way your shoes are pointing by an inch. I do this in an effort to create what I feel are the best possible images. Do not take this as a criticism of you or the way you pose, take it as my obsessive compulsive nature running my life.
