Bobby Martinez is a creative visionary and excellent to work with. His integrity to melding models ideas, and his own brilliant creations, gives steadfast respect between model and photographer. His breathtaking use of shadows and light with models is something amazing to behold, while his camera captures the essence of each model, as something unique. His work with myself was astounding, amazing, and captured my inner spirit in one light nude photography. I look highly forward to working with this great photographer as much as possible, and keeping in touch as I move elsewhere on my model's journey. **Due to the economy, a travel charge of $20.00 for up to 100 miles will be a necessity, further will be pro-rated. This charge will be added to the charges of every shoot. This includes TFCD/TFP for travel.**
I wish to collaborate with photographers and models in the Chicagoland and Central Illinois areas for editorial, commercial, website and other promotional images. I am currently at work on a hair model website (rayvnstarlight.com upcoming) and continuing work on my current yahoo group for hair related work.
Specifically, I am looking:
*…for paid shoots (of course!) but will also do TFCD shoots from time to time upon request and for interest in keeping up my port if the work benefits it.
*…for photographers to partner with regarding my hair site. I want images I can sell as photo CDs and photo/video DVDs. I am looking for people to help me with video content. Please contact me for more details on this business venture.
*…to collaborate with other models and/or photographers in a variety of location shoots around Central Illinois and Chicagoland for general modeling purposes and website development (photos for advertising, building up portfolios, for experience working with a group, etc.)
*…Shoots for my website involve hair modeling. For example, this could involve photos taken while brushing one’s hair, possibly getting a haircut for a shoot (getting the haircut could even *be* the shoot!), or perhaps me trimming your hair in a shoot.
*…for shoots in the evenings & Saturdays. I am also available for a limited number of Sunday shoots upon request. I am available during the day as well, but understandably I have to plan those out well ahead of my other work schedule.
I deeply appreciate the photographers I have worked with, and the mutual trust and partnerships we have. (Models, if you have read this far, take note of my photographers – they have treated me respectfully and I’d work with them all again!) For distance shoots, like Chicago, I will bring an escort. Keep that in mind when scheduling a shoot with me as I expect payment at the beginning of the photo session, at least for travel expenses.
RATES: Please contact me if interested in me for any type of assignment. I bill by the session, not by hour, and I will take trade for photos with some and do TFCD/TFP of course. For sessions outside of the Peoria/Bloomington area, usually at least mileage reimbursement is expected in the form of a monetary payment – unless we’ve agreed in advance that the “rate” is free, as in trade for images work (TFCD/TFP). If your images will help my portfolio, and that includes in regards to work, then trade would be fine. With any other type of work: casuals, swimsuit, fashion, etc., if it will not benefit my portfolio, I am looking for paid work. If it does benefit, TFCD/TFP would be acceptable.
About Me:
Photography and Modeling are artistic, beautiful experiences. I have worked 2 years plus specializing in hair, hands, feet, legs, and boots, with hair being my main focus.
However, I am not just a hair model. I am open to doing editorial, commercial, runway, and other types of work. I also am actively seeking print work and/or any regular work that will allow me to “quit my day job” and transition to modeling full-time. I love being in front of the camera and adore working with people of all types. I am open to most anything as far as shooting, although it seems my best styles usually embody a funky, eclectic, edgy-but-fun vibe – which is well suited to commercial print advertising.I am open to wearing different clothes, trying different poses, and doing just about anything to get a great shot.

Thanks for your interest and support! I am reliable as far as shoots are concerned, and if for some reason I can't make it, I am prompt about responding to people and able to reschedule or if I photographer has something come up as well, I am flexible.
