Professional models are as professional as the photographer they work with. I am guessing these models were a bit less than pro. You live and learn and stay in control of your shoot.

I've never once had a model come on to me but I did have one in the adult entertainment industry offer to provide her services in exchange for providing her with web content. I didn't take her up on it. And her photos are not in my portfolio.

Man you must be a very handsome to have these models throwing themselves at you or they think you are very wealthy. Myself, I'm ugly as sin and do not look wealthy by any stretch and therefore have never had your problem, thank you Jesus.

When I saw this OP I was thinking that it MUST be an April Fool's joke. I've been shooting adult for 20+ years, not too bad looking and single, and it's never happened on set other than flirting and banter back and forth in order to enhance the shoot itself. I'm trying to get a look in that model's eyes. That's not to say that relationships weren't struck after work was over and we were on our own time.

Then again, I'm a pro who works with pros. The attitude on set is to get the damn paid work done ASAP to our clients satisfaction, then go back to the real world. Yeah, you can flirt around on the set and keep it fun and light, but know where the boundaries are. Work is work, and play is play. Period.

I defy anyone to tell me who in my portfolio might be, or has been, a lover. I will note that most are friends. All conducted themselves professionally, as did I, and that's the point.

It has always been a business arrangement........... It only takes one time of mixing business with pleasure, and there will be no more business...... and far less pleasure.....

At least that is how I think of it.........

Most things in life that seem like front page news in retrospect are often found to be our biggest flops...... and those things we never mention that are our everyday Integrity we fail to recognize our selves for; and rarely are gifted by our peers for.......

AKA..... better to be quiet in life, and thought of as a fool; than to open our mouth and remove all doubt.

It is a rare quality to be a good Stuart of our own blessings...... be them what they may.......

Curtis, the OP wasn't a joke. IMO it read like a GWC's wet dream, which is why my general reaction was WTF??

And I've seen pics of you. You can't be that bad as the lovely Miss Redd is still around.... Just sayin', as I know you're not rich, and personality only goes so far! lol

Are you guys trying to tell me that not all models try to jump photographers' bones? I thought that is why models get their pix taken...so they can be alone with studly photographers. Dayum...who knew?

I am a Photographer and after (10) years of being single, pretty much gave up on a True Love being part of my life.
I was hired to shoot a Birthday Party and did so,but this was a B-Party like no other the lady who the party was thrown for was a dancer and her new husband bought out the bar for the night.
A week later I met this couple at a diffrent bar to show them the proofs, I walked in the back door of the club camera's in hand, headed for the office to drop off the cameras. Spoted this (Beautiful Lady) sitting at the wait station, Platimun Blonde but she was buzzing her head very little hair and looked like Schanade O Conner. My hair is about 4 ft long and it was down that night.
I went over to this hightop and set down with this couple and they were viewing the shots and I was preoccupied with the job at hand. Didn't notice the Blonde go to the dance floor, but as she exited I noticed and she walked by our table not saying a word and grabbed a hand full of my hair and pulled on it. I was shocked and I looked at her and said (Well Bitch if you had some I would pull yours too) no lie that was my opening line.
Well a lot of things happened that night at the bar. But we went home togeather that night, and have never been apart.I found the (LOVE OF MY LIFE and MY SOUL MATE) married now and (12) years later we have never had a arguement or a fight.
We are togeather 24/7 and work as a Team...

WOW I loveeeeeeee reading the story of how u met your wife. That is the sweetest MOST ROMANTIC story I've ever heard- and for u to brag about it ONLINE says so much about your character, that's so commendable, there's so many married men on here trying to act single- Kudos to you and your wife, may the next 12 yrs be as beautiful for you as the last 12 were....CONGRATS my friend.

I've had a few models try to put the make on me, and I'm single and 30+ yrs older than they were at the time. But I didn't want to cross the line either.

Well Beach...I can only go by my experience with you. It was so obvious that you are a gentleman and a professional. I was so exhausted from driving I could barely stand up; but even energetic wouldn't think to make a pass! It was so nice to feel safe in your home. That says a lot about you. You do great work and your energy spent instead on getting the finished product to the model before she leaves is really well appreciated.

Damn. I missed the Penthouse Letters part of this.

If models and photographers didn't occasionally hook up, how would so many model/photographer couples exist?

When you're in the same business, young and available, things happen.

Of course, when you're old and unavailable, it isn't the same.

Hmmm....yes old and unavailable is no fun! I really love it when I see teams working together...either model and photographer or wardrobe/make-up and photographer or concept help/couching model...
