Jerry Cable
I've been photographing 29 years. I grew up in a family-owned newspaper and publishing business. At age 16, I was covering sports and talent, crime scenes and auto accidents. After high school I studied computer technology and attended Mid-America Professional Photographers, studying model photography and journalism. Photographing model portfolios for John Casablanca’s studios in Oklahoma City, I became a specialist in model portfolios and a familiar face to the local modeling industry.
I went on to study and graduate from New York Institute of Photography. After moving to Lafayette, LA I worked at a local studio for several years. I've photographed hundreds of weddings, portraits and model portfolios. I studied under the late Master photographers, Don Blair at the Texas School of Professional Photography, Dean Collins, and Monte Zucker.
Photography is our life in every way. After 26 years of photographing model portfolios, our days revolve around the work. We do lots of commercial work, and some weddings, but models, talent and the modeling industry is our bread and butter.
Meet the team:Kevin Leger
Kevin has been photographing most of his life. He is a computer genius and most of the website and lighting is handled by Kevin. He has an ingrained instinct for landscape and journalistic photography, but is very much at home assisting with an elaborate model shoot, or an all day wedding.
Bonnie Cable
Bonnie is my constant soulmate and companion. She loves everything there is about photography, and gets involved in every way. Bonnie handles most of the contact, marketing and business management, this allows Kevin and I to concentrate more on the photography. She is fully involved in the wedding photography from first contact and consultation, to photography and helping in the final assembly of the bride’s albums.
Bonnie takes the lead on model shoots as director stylists and posing instructor. She has an eye for the fine details and helps the models make sure clothes, hair and makeup is all just right.
That’s the team, each with a specialization that fits with the whole process.
We are full time working pros, but love photography as an art form. We do TFP shoots with exceptional models only at our discretion.
Our prices are extremely reasonable, if you can afford the clothes to be a model, you can afford us. Our years of experience has fine tuned the model portfolio shoots to a day filled with great locations, sets and artistic ideas, fine-tuned to the models needs. Models with our portfolios are getting modeling work, in the REAL world of modeling.
