I got started as a ringside/backstage photographer for various pro wrestling companies in the NY/NJ/PA area. The fact that there are some cute female wrestlers didn't hurt at all [grin]. My emphasis now is concentrating on fashion/glamour/pinup work, with an old-school foundation (Vargas/Elvgren, Bettie Page, Russ Meyer, et al) and a flair for humor and story-telling mixed in with the sexy. I'm very much open to TFP/TFCD gigs with both new and established models in order to gain experience and build contacts & rapport.
Models who work with me find that I have a friendly, relaxed manner, quick with a joke or a word of assurance to put them at ease. I don't believe in screaming and terror tactics to get the results I want. I love spontaneous creativity, thinking "outside the box," and seizing inspiration from the locale, a handy prop, what have you. I also welcome any ideas the model has with open arms. Basically, it's my job to make YOU look your best, no matter what the situation. |
